"We want to get you the best ball field you can for your money."

We're glad you are here.  We want to be your "go to" place for quality materials for your baseball or softball field.  Our philosophy is to get you the best field we can for your money.   When you call we generally start asking questions so we can determine what you might need, be it infield dirt, conditioner or whatever.  We don't simply want to sell you products, we want you to have a great ball field.  If that happens, you'll be happy and come back.  Better still, everybody that plays on your field will want our number.

NO, YOU DON'T WANT BRICK DUST!

You may think you do, but you don't.  Here's why.  Brick dust is old school.  Years ago, when there was a surplus of broken bricks, someone had the idea to use crushed brick on a baseball field.  It made for a nice contrast with the green grass, but that was it.   Brick dust does nothing but color the skinned area of the field and tear up uniforms.  It is not a substitute for a good field dirt, and it doesn't absorb water like a calcined clay field conditioner.  In fact, brick dust many times aggravates a compacted field situation, or it can be like playing in powder.   If you want something strictly for field coloration, we have that, but it's more of a sand-like product.

    Field Dirt

Let's start with the basics, field dirt.  The skinned areas of your field should consist of a sand and clay based dirt down to a depth of at least 4 inches.   We process our own excellent field dirt blend in Walton.

    Field Conditioners

Calcined Clay Field Conditioners should be at the heart of your field maintenance program.   Think of the calcined clay granules as little sponges that absorb water and then release it back into your infield dirt.

    Mar Mound Red Clay

It's the one you want and yep, we got it!  Mar Mound red clay is simply the finest red clay on the market.  It packs well and makes up a firm mound or batter's box.

    Other Stuff

We carry clay bricks and marker chalk, which are listed on our price sheet.  We also handle natural color aggregate for warning tracks, field coloring aggregate and straight clay material for binding sandy soils.
